The projectBlue Growth Europe for Entrepreneur, managed by the Sieneva Foundation, has been co-financed by the European Social Fund ESF (Empleaverde Programme call 2019) within the framework of the Employment, Training and Education Operational Programme 2014-2020 and managed by the Biodiversity Foundation. It also has the collaboration of the Sulayr entity.

The Blue Growth Europe for Entrepreneur project will support sustainable Blue Entrepreneurship in areas of the Natura 2000 Marine Network in Spain, prioritising the social, economic and environmental development of these areas.

It is, therefore, a free action co-financed by the ESF in 90% that is part of the Empleazul Theme of the Empleaverde Programme, in its CONECTA AXIS.

Our project focuses mainly on achieving quality training and employment, and entrepreneurship within the sustainable blue economy, as well as improving the skills of entrepreneurs through mutual learning with the collaboration of European actors on issues related to the blue economy.

For this reason, our project is mainly aimed at the unemployed, workers and entrepreneurs, paying special attention to those who come from priority groups in society such as: women, young and old, immigrants, people with disabilities or residents of protected/rural areas.

In addition, the theme of the project will be created within the framework of the LIFE IP INTEMARES project, which aims to achieve a consolidated network of Natura 2000 marine areas managed in an effective and integrated way.

Among the actions to be carried out, the project consists of:

• Training actions and social innovation actions, related to the theme of blue entrepreneurship.
• Advisory actions in which both business advice and advice on the blue economy will be worked on.
• Training and entrepreneurship meetings, related to sustainable development in marine areas.

All these actions will be aimed at employed and unemployed people from the autonomous communities belonging to Andalusia, Murcia and the Canary Islands, who are involved in initiatives to implement sustainable business activities that create value in the territories of the Natura 2000 Network areas.
