DESCRIPTION: Through Blue LifeRegeneration, the BES TRAVEL EXPERIENCE team promotes the improvement of quality employment through the progress and growth of the Blue Economy (EE) related to the restoration, protection and conservation of the marine environment, and sustainable tourism in marine ecosystems.
In addition, it contributes to positioning Spain as a benchmark in sustainable development and a promoter of innovative and sustainable development to contribute to both the ecological transition and the development of EE through the restoration and conservation of marine ecosystems, especially coral populations and Posidonia oceanica meadows.
Both corals and meadows of Posidonia oceanica play vital roles for marine ecosystems, preventing erosion, destabilization of the substrate and loss of sand on beaches. In addition, they are places with suitable conditions for the reproduction and development of a wide variety of species.
Corals and seagrass meadows are seriously threatened by various factors such as illegal fishing or trawling, uncontrolled anchoring of recreational boats, water pollution, as well as works that modify coastal dynamics, and as a consequence, the coastline and its ecosystems.
In addition, climate change is implicated in the increased coral mortality that has occurred in recent years in the Mediterranean Sea.
Blue LifeRegeneration contributes to improving the qualification of professionals by accompanying them on their path towards the ecological transition and thus alleviating these problems from their respective companies.
