Eco-creators: traditional trades and sustainable employment
Empleaverde+ program
Ecocreadores is a training project that promotes sustainable employment through learning in traditional trades and green skills. This project is co-financed by the ESF+ through the Empleaverde+ Programme of the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge.
The project focuses mainly on Andalusia and Extremadura, where economic revitalization is a priority. It also has a presence in Castilla y León, with a special focus on groups in vulnerable situations, such as people with disabilities.

In addition, ECOCREADORES facilitates networking and the exchange of knowledge through business mentoring and online consulting, promoting the connection between professionals, companies and entrepreneurs committed to sustainability.
The program offers online and blended training, combining learning through an e-learning platform with face-to-face sessions. It is aimed at both workers and unemployed people, helping them to acquire key skills for the ecological transition.
In addition, Ecocreadores facilitates networking and the exchange of knowledge through business mentoring and online consulting, promoting the connection between professionals, companies and entrepreneurs committed to sustainability.
During the execution of the different training actions, specific training will be included in the field of equal opportunities between men and women, and soft skills will be worked on, including training in teamwork methods: communication skills, leadership, empathy, etc.
Ecoreadores expects to benefit:
– 24 workers through distance training Sustainable Carpentry: Traditional and Modern Techniques for a Green Future (FD01-T).
– 24 workers through distance training Application of Plant Fibres in Landscape Architecture (FD02-T).
– 24 workers through the distance training Innovation in Ceramics with Wheel: Design and Sustainability (FD03-T).
– 20 unemployed people through the distance learning Beekeeping and Crafts: Tradition and Sustainability (FD04-D).
– 24 people with disabilities working through the mixed Eco-Craft training: Workshops on Biodiversity and Inclusive Construction with Recycled Materials (online through videoconferences and face-to-face) (FM01-T).
– 24 artisans who want to transition towards sustainable practices and improve the viability of their businesses through Mentoring for the Sustainability of Crafts, where guides and grants are established (AS01).
– 50 artisans when it comes to the exchange of knowledge, sustainable practices and mutual support networks through a Virtual Community of Eco-Crafts, generating and maintaining an online space that facilitates it (CP01).
– 50 entrepreneurs in the field of crafts in order to promote them during the initial stages of their project, so that their projects integrate sustainable and economically viable ideas through the Virtual Incubation Program for Eco-entrepreneurs (IS01).
