NAME OF THE PROJECT: ECO-INTEREO, training project for job training and business development based on ecological production.

OBJECTIVE: The objective of the project is to promote, through training, the agroecological transition of a territory, a Biosphere Reserve, as a development instrument that helps to maintain the population in an area that suffers from strong tensions of depopulation. The project addresses the issue of the production, distribution and/or sale of organic products.

DESCRIPTION: The project is divided into 30 training actions and 2 advisory actions. The training actions that make up the project have the following typology: generic and transversal actions to introduce agroecological productions, specific to fruit and vegetable productions, livestock and associated with the forest and transversal management and marketing productions. Both the specific and the transversal management and marketing include practical training aimed at verifying by the recipients the real possibilities and advantages obtained thanks to the transition to agroecological productions with in situ knowledge of these practical connotations. It also includes two actions aimed at training the tourism and hospitality sectors as co-helpers in the distribution of productions.

The project is completed with two advisory actions throughout the period, aimed at resolving doubts and problems in producers who seek their introduction to agroecological production or producers, already organic, who require consolidation of their companies.
