Eco-rural Agents for Ecosystem Restoration is a territorial experience inspired by local challenges and solutions. It gives continuity to the restoration of ecosystems in the territory of the Alpujarra of Almeria, which the municipality has been committed to for years, while seeking to ensure the permanence of the population in the territory, promoting the bioeconomy and transforming local challenges into opportunities.
The objective of the project is to increase the capacities and skills for the employability of the population of Almócita and the Alpujarra Almeriense for the continuity and generation of opportunities to stay in the territory through ecological restoration.

The training is planned in a single action of 200 h. that will revolve around 10 blocks: Introduction to Ecosystem Restoration, Living Soils for RE, Uses and Reproduction of Cultivated Biodiversity, Citizen Science, Corporate Social Responsibility, Environmental Education, Creative Communication in the Face of the Climate Crisis, Group Facilitation of Ecosocial Projects and Equal Opportunities, Regenerative tourism and Drafting and request for projects.
At the end of this training, the 15 participants will be able to:
– Contribute valuable ideas to RE projects through the selection of appropriate species, techniques and maintenance strategies.
– Design, communicate and obtain funds for projects that promote the awareness and participation of the population with local challenges from the RE.
– Value local bioeconomic resources.
