A project aimed at promoting green employment, co-financed by the European Social Fund through the empleaverde Program of the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for Ecological Transition.
The Professional Association of Graduates and Graduates in Environmental Sciences of Andalusia (COAMBA) as beneficiary entity, gave start on November 1, 2019 to the project “Expert in Waste Management and Circular Economy”, framed within the 2019 call of the empleaverde Program.
The empleaverde Program of the Ministry for Ecological Transition is the initiative of the Biodiversity Foundation (FB) for the promotion and improvement of employment, entrepreneurship and the environment. It is co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF) under the Operational Program Employment, Training and Education 2014-2020.
With the aim of training unemployed people in waste management, understanding the current problems of waste and contemplating the circular economy as an opportunity for development and improvement, the “Expert in Waste Management and Circular Economy” project is part of the “Green Economy” thematic block, whose The aim is to create new models of sustainable production and consumption, which in turn generate social and environmental benefits in the territory, thus favoring the creation of new jobs.
This project comprises four classroom training actions and four blended training actions in the autonomous communities of the Region of Murcia and Andalusia, specifically in the cities of Murcia, Almeria, Malaga and Granada. It will run for one year (until November 2020).
The face-to-face training will have a duration of 110 teaching hours, while the blended training, which includes two face-to-face sessions, will have a duration of 20 hours. These face-to-face sessions are, on the one hand, a Business Model Development Seminaron the one hand, focused on the possibilities that the Circular Economy offers us to create business models or to integrate sustainability in a given organization and, on the other hand, the Promotion of personal skills through simulated job interviews and resume defense, preparing students to deal with the different situations they may face when entering the labor market.
This project, aimed at unemployed people, has the general objective of achieving training and quality employment. At all times it is an action co-financed by the ESF, and it is free of charge for the beneficiaries.
