PROJECT NAME: GENERIS Project: generation of green employment from energy efficiency and social innovation
OBJECTIVE: The objective of the project is to develop training actions aimed at professionals from the public and private sectors (rehabilitation, consumption, social services…) to train them in advising on improving the efficiency and energy management of housing.
THEME: The project addresses the issue of energy saving and efficiency.
DESCRIPTION: The project will develop 7 training actions, both courses and a social innovation action, to improve the capacity of professionals from public and private entities from various sectors (building, consumption, social services, etc.) in their work of advising citizens on energy management and improving energy efficiency in their homes.
The incorporation of knowledge, by these professionals, in aspects related to the understanding of a bill, the functioning of the energy market and tariffs, energy labelling, devices such as digital meters or possible measures to improve energy efficiency, among others, will have an impact on better energy management by households and a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. It will also contribute to reducing the energy vulnerability of citizens, improving their quality of life and boosting economic activity in green economy sectors.
