Greem Project

Empleaverde program

The Greem project is focused on the profitable and beneficial management of commercial waste from catering services, offices and markets, as well as the rest of the service sector, through the creation of a green job whose responsibility is aimed at the tasks of collection, distribution and sale of waste to companies that can make a profit from its recycling.

The Greem project is focused on the profitable and beneficial management of commercial waste from catering services, offices and markets, as well as the rest of the service sector, through the creation of a green job whose responsibility is aimed at the tasks of collection, distribution and sale of waste to companies that can make a profit from its recycling.

Thus, carrying out a good management of this waste, organising its collection and its subsequent sale or transport to treatment centres, require a new professional profile and, therefore, give rise to employment with a high ecological value.

The main recipients of the project are companies and their managers, with the aim of changing their waste management policies, especially aimed at job seekers, even those with a low training profile, since most positions in recycling companies do not require a high qualification. Especially, it is aimed at people over 45 years of age, women or the disabled.

It is expected to train 395 people, within a project that expects to reach 575 workers. Likewise, among the expected results, the reconversion of 50 workers from disadvantaged sectors to the environmental sector in waste management and the creation of 3 companies in the recycling sector stand out.
