The main objective of the initiative is to promote the creation and consolidation of companies or new lines of business in activities related to the environment and to channel investment towards sustainable economic activities.

Within the project, those business initiatives that were born within the framework of the new sustainable economy and that respond to the new socio-economic and environmental realities in which society is immersed will find their space.
Likewise, among the objectives of the project, it is worth highlighting the training, advice and creation of tools such as manuals and events to promote green entrepreneurship, through the development of strategic actions to promote the diversification of activities linked to the environment. A diversification that affects all sectors of economic activity, from primary to tertiary, with a wide range of services.
To this end, a strategic action plan will be developed integrated into the vberdes Business Network-platform. This network is constituted as a contact platform between entrepreneurs, investors, financiers and others interested in green entrepreneurship, covering a large business network with needs in innovative environmental technologies, to achieve the improvement of companies and the conversion of them into green and therefore sustainable companies.
The recipients of the project are:
- Green entrepreneurs, understood as professionals from micro-SMEs and SMEs, who are currently developing green business initiatives or who want to launch one, including new lines of business.
- Future investors and financiers interested in obtaining not only an economic return but also a positive environmental and social impact on their investment.
In general, the project is aimed at all those interested in green entrepreneurship.
The results that will be achieved with the project are:
- Training of 60 recipients, although the initiative will reach a total of 5,155 workers.
- Creation of a minimum of twelve environmental companies or opening of a new green business line.
- Consolidation of the Green Business Network, with 2,000 members including entrepreneurs, investors, financiers and others interested in green entrepreneurship.
