The Project focuses on improving the skills and qualifications of workers in the areas of sustainability, green entrepreneurship and digitalisation, to face the challenges of the energy, circular and environmental transition.

Professional skills for green and sustainable jobs in innovative environments, develops training actions, whose typology responds to Training Courses, Advice and Social Innovation Actions, which aim to promote the green economy and are aimed at workers with the aim of improving their employability and obtaining a qualification in sustainability and innovation.

The training programme developed aims to promote the sustainability of economic activities in all sectors by promoting the just transition towards a low-carbon and circular economy, integrating biodiversity into management and business processes and making more efficient use of natural resources, constituting an engine of sustainable economic growth and social progress. The GREEN CHALLENGE Project has training, advice, meetings and innovation actions aimed at workers, paying special attention to women and priority groups (young people up to 35, over 45, immigrants, people with disabilities and residents of protected areas and/or rural areas). The objective focuses on improving the skills and qualifications of workers in sustainability issues, contributing to face major current challenges such as the crisis generated by COVID-19, the loss of biodiversity, climate change and depopulation, promoting the construction of a more resilient and sustainable future. This Project focuses on the Green Economy, Sustainability, Digitalization and Eco-innovation of economic activities in all sectors as an opportunity to help workers who wish to improve their professional training to overcome the challenges of the crisis generated by COVID-19, while promoting the just transition to a low-carbon and circular economy.

This training programme “GREEN CHALLENGE: Professional skills for green and sustainable jobs in innovative environments” includes 13 training courses (9 are distance and 4 are mixed) and 2 distance counselling.
