OBJECTIVE: To train participants on solar photovoltaic energy

DESCRIPTION: According to the Long-Term Decarbonisation Strategy, Spain will only be among the leading European countries in the global energy transition if it has qualified human capital for the task. The study “Educational and training gaps in the renewable energy sector” has analysed the global training offer in this sector and considers that the lack of qualified professionals could be a barrier to progress in the development of renewable technologies in Spain.

To avoid this, it proposes that the training offer be adapted to make up for these shortcomings and that it be made more flexible to adapt to the pace at which renewable sectors develop. In this sense, the following actions are proposed:

· Course “Installation of photovoltaic systems”: 70 hours in online mode.

· Course “Operation and maintenance of photovoltaic plants”: 70 hours in online mode.

· Advice, lasting 30 hours, for participants.
