Green Employment Promotion (PEV): Training in green entrepreneurship and subsequent hiring

The Green Employment Promotion project is designed to identify and support people interested in training people in sectors linked to the ecological transition. They seek to help these entrepreneurs identify business opportunities, create new companies or consolidate and grow existing ones. Through a personalized approach structured in three phases, it seeks to improve the skills necessary for success in green entrepreneurship.

To train unemployed people in green entrepreneurship, improving their skills in ecological transition in the Canary Islands. Promote the business fabric and the social economy, focusing on conservation, restoration, mitigation and adaptation to climate change.

This project has 3 phases:

  • Phase 0 where a dissemination, identification and recruitment of participants will be carried out during the first 4 months. Each person is diagnosed with their skills needs and shortcomings and a personalised training plan (mentorFIT) is carried out.
  • Phase 1, in which personalized initial training will be carried out, providing training pills focused on key competencies for green entrepreneurship, as well as soft skills and equal opportunities (microlearning). Practical exercises with continuous evaluation by QUIZ are included to ensure the acquisition of knowledge and skills.
  • Phase 2 where a group training of participants is carried out with the aim of training them to identify business models in circular economy and/or new green/blue business models Webinar, practical workshops.
  • Mentoring phase 3, where, through a workshop, the mentoring methodology is described as an ideal follow-up method to guarantee the success of the venture.
