Green Employment Shuttles

Empleaverde program

The project aims to promote the activation, training of transversal skills and the active search for green employment of unemployed people through a collaborative methodology based on personal and professional empowerment.

The theme of the project is multidisciplinary. The project focuses on the promotion of green employment from a heterogeneous and multidisciplinary point of view. It focuses on the search for employment in the different areas of the green economy, working on the possibilities offered by it.

Specific objectives of the project:

OE1: Strengthen the employability in the green field of 80 unemployed people to improve their opportunities for insertion, through a training and collective work process that enhances their personal and professional development.

OE2: To promote the insertion of at least 15% of the participants into the regulated training system as employees or re-insertion into the regulated training system

OE3: Promote the visibility of the project in order to make it known in the surroundings of each Shuttle and enhance the possibilities of support and employment opportunities in the green sector.

Project Description:

The Employment Shuttles are based on the creation of heterogeneous teams of a maximum of 20 unemployed people with a dynamic, committed and supportive spirit who voluntarily access this initiative and who, coordinated by a technician, reinforce their skills, generate collective knowledge, become visible and collaborate in the achievement of a common goal: get a job.

After the successful experience of the more than 580 launchers developed to date and with more than 12,000 people who have passed through the project, the adaptation of the Programme to the green economy sector is currently being sought, as it is a sector with great future prospects and in line with the SDGs. Work will be carried out specifically from goal 8 (Decent work and economic growth), and in a transversal way in everything that has to do with green employment and environmental issues.

The project will have a full duration of 8 months. A total of 5 Shuttles will be developed, with a duration of 4 months of direct intervention each and aimed at 16 participants each. 4 shuttles will be developed in Andalusia and 1 in Extremadura.

The percentage of participation of women in the project will be 50%, while the percentage of participation of other priority groups (sum of the rest of the groups except women) will be 55%. The percentage of recipients who obtain a job is 15%.
