OBJECTIVE: To promote employability in the waste management sector

DESCRIPTION: This project proposes a comprehensive itinerary consisting of occupational training as a Waste Management Assistant that will be carried out in all the territories where the project is implemented, accompaniment in the search for employment and labor intermediation with companies that generate jobs linked to the circular economy and green employment. We set an itinerary with a 60-hour training program, Waste Management Assistant.

The training includes obtaining the forklift operator’s license, an accreditation highly valued by companies in the sector.

On the other hand, and in line with one of the cross-cutting objectives of the European Social Fund, we encourage the search for and development of employment in environmentally sustainable sectors, and encourage responsible behaviour with regard to energy consumption and efficiency, in order to promote a general trend towards environmental protection. In addition to the training, a process of counselling will be carried out for the participants.
