The aim of the project is to improve and stimulate employment growth in Extremadura by promoting innovation in the energy and environmental areas and promoting the creation of companies in the renewable energy sector.

The aim of the project is to improve and stimulate employment growth in Extremadura by promoting innovation in the energy and environmental areas and promoting the creation of companies in the renewable energy sector.

The project is mainly aimed at workers in SMEs and micro-SMEs, as well as self-employed workers in the AC of Extremadura, linked to both the construction and energy sectors.

Through this initiative, it seeks to contribute specifically to:

• The promotion of employment through the increase in the participation of workers from SMEs, micro-SMEs and the self-employed in Extremadura in innovation projects in the energy and environmental areas.
• The creation of companies in the renewable energy sector.
• The reconversion and adaptation of workers in sectors with special difficulties in the region towards activities related to renewable energies and the environment.
• The active collaboration between SMEs, micro-SMEs and the self-employed in the region with the University of Extremadura and with the Technology Centres in terms of projects within the environmental and energy areas.
• Increasing skills and improving the qualifications of workers in environmental, energy and sustainability issues.
