The INMAINMI project will study the possibilities of conversion of companies created by immigrants into sectors of activity linked to the environment. this initiative aims to detect employment opportunities in rural areas of the Community of Madrid and neighbouring provinces that fit the interests of the immigrant population. It also raises awareness among these people about the employment opportunities detected in the depopulated rural areas studied, and about the mechanisms for reconversion towards environmental sustainability in the sectors of activity and type of companies in which immigrants have traditionally set up their businesses.

Likewise, immigrant entrepreneurs and technical staff of NGOs who work with them will be trained and advised with the necessary management tools so that they can reconvert their activities towards the environmental sector.
All the actions are mainly aimed at immigrant workers residing in Madrid and Castilla-La Mancha, as they are the target targets of the project.
The objectives of the project are:
– To contribute to the economic and environmental sustainability of declining micro-enterprises created by immigrants in Madrid through their conversion towards activities related to the environment.
– To encourage people who reside in a large city like Madrid to populate rural areas through the creation of companies.
The expected results are the training of 60 target audiences, the conversion of the activities of five companies to the environmental sector to become more sustainable and the development of five companies in rural areas.
