PROJECT NAME: Training and advice to improve the employability of workers through Green INNOVATION. INNOVA in Green

OBJECTIVE: The objective of the project is to improve the employability of workers in the forest value chain through green innovation, sustainability and marketing tools for the integration of biodiversity in business management and to comply with the 2030 SDGs.

THEMES: The project focuses on sustainable forest management. It will also deal with other aspects such as management, environmental improvement and eco-innovation in industry/business: Based on sustainable forest management, tools will be provided to promote new management models in the change towards sustainability and enhance effective governance.

With this project, of supra-utonomic scope, workers will be equipped with market skills to market forest products, generate economy and improve employability within the framework of sustainability.

DESCRIPTION: Training actions, personalized advice are proposed to provide workers with innovation, sustainability and marketing tools in the responsible management of forests and their supply chain (Due Diligence, Green Public Procurement, CSR, green marketing and sales and shared value), to promote the change towards sustainability. The use of products from responsibly managed forest ecosystems contributes to improving the competitiveness of companies and rural areas, to generating a stable productive fabric with gender equality and, consequently, to the adaptation and mitigation of climate change, to the conservation of biodiversity and to the enhancement of the environmental services of forests.
