New Economies and Social Innovation in the creation of sustainable and quality employment.

Empleaverde program

The project entitled: “
New Economies and Social Innovation in the creation of sustainable and quality employment.
“promoted by the NESI Forum of New Economy and Social Innovation, is being held for the second time in Spain, this time in Andalusia and Extremadura, two autonomous communities particularly affected by very high unemployment rates.

The project has been approved under the 2019 call of the empleaverde program, an initiative of the
Biodiversity Foundation
of the
Ministry for Ecological Transition
and is co-financed by the
European Social Fund
which makes it free of charge for participants.

Who is the target audience?

The project was born with the vocation of offering innovative training to unemployed people, aimed at achieving training and quality employment, based on training in New Economies and Social Innovation as tools towards a green and low-carbon economy.

It will be developed in Andalusia and Extremadura and has 60 vacancies, part of which will be aimed at priority groups such as women, young people up to 35 years of age, people over 45 years of age, immigrants, people with disabilities or residents in protected areas and/or rural areas.

The application period to participate in the training is open until January 24, 2020, after registration using the following Online Form.

What does it consist of?

The training, which will begin on February 10 in Extremadura and on February 17 in Andalusia, will be carried out in three phases.

The first phase will be face-to-face, in which participants will be trained by some of the leading experts in New Economies and Social Innovation in Spain.

The second phase will be developed remotely and virtually through Professional Webinars on the tools and models of New Economies themselves, applied to different sectors. This phase will be completed with Talent Webinars based on the coaching philosophy, to incorporate and develop essential personal competencies to enhance the professional profile in the labor market.

The third and final phase will be carried out in a blended mode, combining classroom and virtual training. In it, the participant is the protagonist and responsible for his or her own positioning. On the one hand, working groups will be developed where the applicability of the concepts acquired and the development of competencies will be investigated. On the other hand, there will be Hiring Sessions, activities that promote interaction with companies of interest in order to create a real approach and an opportunity to gain visibility with them.

Why train in New Economies and Social Innovation?

The international community has set the year 2030 as the target date for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Sustainable Development Goals
Development Goals and also to assess the climate change objectives defined in the Paris Agreement.
Paris Agreement.
. However, the United Nations’ own monitoring indicators have raised all the alarms, as they show that we are still a long way from achieving them.

There is an urgent need to change economic models to be more caring for people and the planet. The New Economies (circular economy, green economy, economy of the common good, transition economy or blue economy, among others) offer real tools and answers applicable to all types of sectors and supported by the European Union through the
Opinion “New Sustainable Economic Models”.

These new models must be implemented by companies and organizations to meet the environmental and social challenges we face. However, at present, companies are still unable to implement these new models, among other reasons, due to the lack of qualified and trained people in these areas.

Training people in New Economies and Social Innovation is a solution to two current shortcomings. On the one hand, the lack of experts in these areas, which is increasingly in demand by companies. On the other hand, the need to incorporate people with this profile into organizations, so that they can be “seeds of change” by proposing actions related to the New Economies and Social Innovation.

From
NESI
we firmly believe in continuous improvement, aiming at excellence, quality and innovation to generate impact in organizations and a greater added value to professionals in transition.
