The “Oviedo Ecoempleo” project has the general objective of acquiring or improving the professional skills of 12 unemployed people, through training in alternation with employment.

It is about learning by working, through a training and employment itinerary, carrying out works or services related to the Certificate of Professionalism that defines each itinerary. They will receive complementary and transversal training. In this way, the participants will improve their employability by developing hard and soft skills, enhancing their personal, social and professional skills that will allow them to adapt to changes in the labour market and new organisational and technological models from sustainability, biodiversity, green employment and, ultimately, in the achievement of the 2030 Agenda. training and working in the new sources of employment and challenges from a gender perspective.

The “Oviedo Ecoempleo” Project is part of the strategy for the ecological transition in the field of biodiversity, axis 1: Urban renaturation and is directly related to the Sustainable Development Goals: 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 15 of the 2030 Agenda.

In the “Oviedo Ecoempleo” Project, the Professional Certificate to be taught is “Environmental Interpretation and Education” SEAG0109 (Level 3) Grade C, whose reference work would be the design, development and evaluation of environmental education activities in the Municipality of Oviedo, adapted to the different groups and needs, promoting habits that ensure the conservation of biodiversity and the transformation of our municipality towards a sustainable economy. low carbon and resilient to climate change.

The “Oviedo Ecoempleo” Project will last 10 months, between August 5, 2025 and June 4, 2026.
