The initiative focuses on training and educating unemployed people in fisheries management, with a specific focus on sustainability and data analysis to strengthen the conservation of marine biodiversity for the performance of two priority occupations: Specialists in sustainability and marine biodiversity, and Specialists in research of natural resources and aquatic ecosystems.
According to a study by the Biodiversity Foundation, these occupations have been identified as highly demanded within the Sustainable Fisheries and Aquaculture Priority Axis (BIO6).
The training will be hybrid, combining face-to-face and online sessions, adapting to the needs of the participants.
PESCA-HAB contemplates the hiring of two people at the end of the training, one in Galicia and the other in Andalusia. One of the profiles will be in sustainability and the other in data analysis, with the aim of optimizing fisheries management. This will allow Sinerxia to improve its services in data management and sustainability, and offer more specialized support to its main customers.
Training of 30 people and hiring of two people from whom they receive the training.
