PROJECT NAME: Promotion of employability in sustainable tourism through training in endogenous agricultural, livestock, forestry, environmental, geological and gastronomic resources in the Canary Islands, Madrid and Castilla-La Mancha.
OBJECTIVE: The general objective is to promote the achievement of quality employment for the beneficiaries through sustainable economic development by means of the use of the endogenous natural resources of the territories of the Canary Islands, Madrid and Castilla-La Mancha.
DESCRIPTION: The aim is to train the unemployed in new aspects of natural resources that can improve the probability of finding employment, which can be developed linked to rural areas and nature through companies with sustainability scheme. Social initiatives, exchange of experiences, establishment of synergies in the territories are proposed. The aim is to provide recipients with an inventory of resources, propose actions for their use and specialized training. Mixed training actions are planned. The aim is to enable access to formal training that will allow in the future to obtain Certificates of Professionalism. It includes social innovation actions, catalyzing social change, participatory workshops for exchange and sharing, allowing the beneficiaries themselves to implement pilot experiences in sustainable tourism activities, evaluate the results obtained and propose new initiatives.
