OBJECTIVE

The project aims to improve the skills of the participants, to promote new lines of business in the field of marketing of fishery products through new preparations, presentations and services, taking into account environmental, social and economic sustainability.

DESCRIPTION

The project aims to promote sustainable aquaculture and fishing, energy efficiency, environmental improvement, eco-innovation in the company, the three R’s in waste management, transport and sustainable mobility.

In the face of changes in the market, with a constant reduction in the consumption of fish products and the abandonment of a healthy diet, consumers continue to value gastronomy but spend less and less time shopping and cooking. We want to offer the opportunity to value and promote proposals for innovative business lines in the field of the marketing of fishery products that revolve around artisan preparations, new presentations and tastings, highlighting their aspects of environmental, social and economic sustainability.

The aim is to value both the origin of the products and theproducers to make food with products from the Natura 2000 Network, artisanal fishing or caught with more respectful, traceable fishing gear that helps to fix the population in territories highly dependent on fishing. In-depth study will be carried out on how to make these products in an artisanal way, but with new equipment and all the health guarantees, highlighting their link with the development of the blue economy and betting on a circular economy. The best sales conditions for the elaborations and tastings will be analysed, advising on the business model, the marketing and commercialisation plan, communication, economic and social management. In addition, logistics solutions for the delivery of products that adapt to current trends in home orders will be studied, given the potential of delivery, but in an environmentally sustainable and economically viable way.

Andalusia, Aragon, the Canary Islands, Castilla y León, the Community of Madrid, the Region of Murcia and the Community of Valencia.

The project has an impact on the Natura 2000 Network.
