AXIS: Innova
LINE: Empleaverde
OBJECTIVE: To create new job profiles focused on the creation and marketing of design products
DESCRIPTION: The project consists of the creation of innovative training itineraries related to the creative reuse of different types of urban waste in order to consolidate two spaces (one for workshops and the other for sales) that the School of Solidarity Foundation manages in the heart of the city of Granada. Thanks to this activity, it is intended to develop a cycle of specific training for the socio-labor insertion of people in situations of social exclusion, related to environmental issues, the circular economy and the promotion of sustainable tourism.
Currently, learning to recover waste and transform it into objects with new life is a primary activity for environmental sustainability, considering that the resources we have are scarce and therefore we must be responsible when consuming and throwing away what we consider waste.
This project is proposed as a promoter of a change at the local level in the way waste is consumed and perceived, applying the philosophy of reuse and the infinity of possibilities in that each object or material can have more than one useful life repairing it for the same use or with imagination for a different use. To this end, 6 training actions have been proposed.
