The objective of the “Rural Relay from the Circular Economy” project is to promote entrepreneurship, the circular economy and generational renewal through training and accompaniment, training entrepreneurs and unemployed people, and promoting the development of rural areas.
Two different training programs will be carried out. The first program is aimed at unemployed people, focusing on the adoption of circular practices and their application to businesses that need generational change. The second training programme will be aimed at entrepreneurs and businesswomen who need relief in the short, medium and long term. This training will raise awareness about how to transform businesses to make them more attractive and innovative for young people, helping to retain talent in rural areas.
In addition, the project includes group support sessions, real case studies and face-to-face meetings in the rural relay community. These activities encourage the exchange of experiences and networking among participants, creating synergies and enhancing collaboration.
In the territory immersion phase, participants will learn about real projects during a four-week itinerary. They will learn about current production and business, develop new sustainable strategies and align the interests of all parties involved. Subsequently, a six-month individual counseling program will be offered, with personalized mentoring and face-to-face accompaniment visits to support the implementation of the projects. The final objective is to create synergies between both training groups to generate success stories in the generational renewal of the rural environment.
