The main objective is the common action of the Public University together with PRODIVERSA (third sector) and Adobe Verde (social economy) for the ecological transition of our environment, from equal opportunities, the value of green employment, and qualified training.

Specific objectives:

a) TRAINING/EXECUTION:1. Rehabilitation of buildings: This project aims to comply with the Strategic Plan for Energy Transformation of the UMA, to guarantee qualified personnel in advanced technologies in home automation and energy efficiency who will subsequently proceed to the execution of rehabilitation and energy improvement works of the public buildings of the university campus of Malaga.

All this with the aim that the beneficiaries of this training and subsequent hiring become highly competitive professionals in the sustainable construction sector and have accredited experience both for their technical qualification and for their participation in a work project related to the creation of sustainable and efficient environments.

2. Control systems: Replacement of luminaires by the participants, including the incorporation of a central panel that will allow different technologies to be available to enable the control of the buildings and therefore not only save on energy by using only what is necessary but also when it is used. It is a matter of forming and installing mixed management systems in which each central independently governs the different dependencies assigned and the management of data to the common UMA network. 3- In terms of lighting, the formation and installation of an intelligent control and regulation system aimed at energy saving.

B) Creation of qualified employment with equal opportunities: 50% of the hiring of trained beneficiaries is guaranteed, complying with the priority parameters of the unemployed, young people, women, people over 45 years of age, and rural areas, as well as vulnerable people or at risk of social exclusion. Qualified technical training and a 6-month employment contract are guaranteed.

The project has three lines of action: 1. Training and technical training in energy efficiency and home automation applied to buildings, which will be taught by the University of Malaga, under the academic direction of the Andalusian Institute of Home Automation and Energy Efficiency (Knowledge Transfer Centre). 2. Coordination and design of the Social Itinerary for the training and subsequent hiring of participants, as well as training related to Soft skills, by the NGO Prodiversa (Progress and Diversity). 3. Recruitment of staff for the rehabilitation and improvement of the energy efficiency of the buildings of the University of Malaga, by the socio-labour insertion company Adobe Verde EI.
