This new orientation in the footwear sector, with a special impact on employment, drives the implementation of new management strategies, aimed at maintaining employment levels and sustainability. It seeks the introduction of eco-innovation criteria, reduction of environmental impacts, and the promotion of “eco-enterprise” in our footwear industry and its workers, with special interest in those disadvantaged groups.
