The objective of FUNDETEC with the implementation of this project is to raise awareness and train SME workers and self-employed professionals in the technology sector so that they can make the development of their industrial activity compatible with the concept of sustainability.

The objective of FUNDETEC with the implementation of this project is to raise awareness and train SME workers and self-employed professionals in the technology sector so that they can make the development of their industrial activity compatible with the concept of sustainability.

The PymeVerde project will achieve:

• To increase the skills and qualifications of workers in technological SMEs on environmental and sustainability issues.
• To promote the modernisation and innovation of these SMEs in the field of the environment.
• Adapt the activities of the SME information and communication technologies (ICT) to environmental regulations.

The recipients are workers in the technology sector, small and medium-sized energy, telecommunications, engineering and consulting companies and, in general, professionals or entrepreneurs from other related sectors, who carry out their activity in Andalusia and Extremadura.

With this initiative, 300 recipients will be trained (the project will reach a total of 975 workers). In addition, savings in electricity consumption will be achieved in SMEs in the technology sector and the recycling of computer material, which will contribute to reducing environmental pollution by 20%.
