OBJECTIVE: The objective of the project is to facilitate and promote the creation of employment in the gardening activity in the tourism sector, promoting sustainability and social and environmental innovation in this economic subsector.

THEMES: The project focuses on two themes, focused on the sector and tourist destinations. On the one hand, the control of pests and diseases, through the sustainable use of phytosanitary products (reducing their dependence) and the promotion of integrated pest management and alternative approaches or techniques. On the other hand, the creation and management of sustainable gardens, applying sustainability and quality criteria.

DESCRIPTION: The project actions are carried out on four islands with a marked tourist character, three in the province of Las Palmas and one in the Balearic Islands. It includes seven training actions to improve the skills and qualifications of sustainability workers and an advisory action.
