The project consists of a Workshop School that leads to obtaining a certificate of professionalism to carry out regenerative gardening processes in the municipalities of Campo de Gibraltar. It lasts 15 months, of which 12 are intended for the regulated and practical training of 10 participants with an unemployed profile, between 18 and 25 years old.
The project will be carried out in a real learning environment that is the largest publicly owned farm in Spain located in the Los Alcornocales Natural Park, which has a great biodiversity as an Andalusian Mediterranean forest. The special characteristics of the region at a demographic and landscape level make the area a great niche for threats to Climate Change as well as opportunities for just transition, job transformation and resilience. La Almoraima, through the Strategic Development Plan in which it is immersed, is postulated as an organization with a marked emphasis on innovative management, fully integrated into the civil life of the population of the region and with a social responsibility to positively impact the region, which makes it a guarantor to carry out projects of this type.
