The main lines of action of the project include:
Specialized training in agroecological production
Courses will be taught structured in three main areas:
- Sustainable agriculture: training in sustainable farming techniques, efficient resource management, organic production and production improvements for the optimisation of agricultural holdings. Key aspects such as the circular economy, climate change adaptation strategies, crop diversification and the incorporation of ICTs in agricultural management will be addressed.
- Sustainable livestock farming: training in environmentally friendly livestock practices, animal welfare, efficient production and strategies for the development of products with greater added value. The implementation of regenerative livestock farming models, the improvement of animal feed and the reduction of the environmental impact of livestock activity will be encouraged.
- Sustainable beekeeping: training in hive management techniques, organic production, generation of innovative beekeeping products (propolis, beehiv, royal jelly, organic honey), prevention of pests such as Vespa velutina, and strategies for the marketing and diversification of the beekeeping sector.
The courses will be designed under innovative methodologies, including collaborative learning, project-based learning and audiovisual training through training pills, which will allow participants to acquire knowledge in a practical and applicable way.
Technical advice and implementation support
The project includes a service of Expert advice to accompany participants in the implementation of Agroecological initiatives, ensuring the correct application of the knowledge acquired in the courses. This advice will be structured in three areas:
- Advice on sustainable agriculture: guidance on the implementation of organic farming practices, crop diversification and strategies for improving farm profitability.
- Advice on sustainable livestock: support in the implementation of sustainable production models, animal welfare management and adoption of measures to reduce environmental impact.
- Advice on sustainable beekeeping: support in the improvement of beekeeping production, strategies for marketing and product differentiation, as well as in the adoption of prevention measures against threats such as the Vespa velutina.
Building a Community of Practice and Collaborative Networks
Collaborative learning will be encouraged through the creation of P2P groups, where participants will be able to exchange experiences, knowledge and strategies for the improvement of agroecological production. These groups will be divided into three areas:
- P2P Group for Agricultural Promotion: exchange of tools and strategies to improve the adaptation of farmers to new markets and improve the competitiveness of the sector.
- P2P group for livestock promotion: generation of support networks for the implementation of sustainable livestock practices and for the professionalization of the sector.
- P2P group for beekeeping promotion: learning community on sustainable beekeeping production, threat prevention and development of innovative products.
Innovation and professional development actions
To ensure the constant updating of the agricultural sector, the project will have a series of actions focused on innovation and the development of transversal skills:
- Opportunities in green employment: dissemination of news in the agricultural sector, presentation of trends and opportunities for labor development in the green economy.
- Professional development webinars: training in time management, ICTs applied to the agricultural and beekeeping sector, practical success stories and innovation strategies.
