As a result of the project, an area of 445,301^m2 is expected to be renaturalized.

Priority is given to areas of high density and socio-environmental vulnerability, introducing nature into the urban fabric and promoting NBS. The actions are part of a Green Infrastructure and Climate Change Adaptation Strategy to consolidate a multifunctional, accessible and inclusive green infrastructure, which reinforces connectivity with the ENIL-Tower of Hercules and San Pedro Islands.

The actions include: 1) the improvement of the biodiversity of the Carlos Casares Park and its ecological connectivity with the ENIL Torre de Hércules, proposing the creation of wildlife crossings, replacement of asphalt with draining pavement, increase of vegetation, creation of biotopes to be colonized by insects, reptiles or small mammals, expansion of urban gardens and control of invasive species; 2) the creation of an urban green corridor that links the ENIL Torre de Hércules with the interior of the city; 3) the restoration of the wetland of the Eirís park; 4) the requalification of the Oza Park, with actions to improve biodiversity, restoration of the pond and creation of a functional wetland; 5) the environmental improvement of the Vioño Park through the strengthening of ecological functionality and the creation of a bioretention area; 6) the establishment of a green corridor in the Sagrada Familia neighborhood; 7) the implementation of a pilot project of social co-design for the implementation of micro-green spaces in the Agra del Orzán neighbourhood and 8) the improvement of local biodiversity through the creation of habitats for the refuge, breeding and feeding of fauna in the urban green spaces of A Coruña.
