As a result of the project, an area of 359,700^m2 is expected to be renaturalized.

A Strategic Plan will be drawn up focused on greenways, which do not have a management plan, and this may be a replicable example.

The integration of the road with the green spaces of the municipalities of Jaén, Torredelcampo, Torredonjimeno, Martos and Alcaudete will also strengthen its use as a sustainable mobility infrastructure, connecting the urban and rural areas. The renaturation of the access roads will expand the green infrastructure from the urban centers to the CNVVA. The project has great social support.

Specifically, it proposes actions of 1) restoration of spaces of the Vía Verde del Aceite natural path for the promotion of biodiversity through the planting of more than 5,000 trees, creation of groves, construction of ponds, installation of nest boxes and perches for birds, installation of refuges for insects, creation of islands of aromatic vegetation, bird observatories, installation of green pergolas, etc. At the same time, work will be done on environmental restoration in private plots of adjoining olive groves, establishing stewardship agreements with the owners. 2) Reduction of erosion and increase of water capacity, through the renaturation and stabilization of slopes, improvement of the structure and texture of the soils in the planned planting areas, renaturation of drainage works in areas susceptible to erosion, incorporation into the soil of crushed pruning remains, etc.
