As a result of the project, an area of 45,849^m2 is expected to be renaturalized.

It is worth highlighting the detailed Participation Plan, supported by the existing Neighbourhood Councils, in addition to a complete monitoring approach that is reinforced by the existence of a Municipal Maintenance Plan with ecological criteria. The city of Barcelona has the EU Mission Seal.

The project proposes to act in 4 areas, all located in green corridors of ecological importance, also incorporating accessibility actions and gender perspective.

Of the four areas of intervention, selected on a model of green corridors of the Natura 2030 Plan, two are located in the coastal corridor and two in a semi-forest environment:

• Poblenou Park and Montjuic Park: actions will be carried out to depave, sow natural meadows on slopes to prevent erosion, pruning and elimination of invasive flora, planting trees adapted to the coastal area, installation of irrigation and creation of biodiversity refuges.
• Guinardó Park and Turó de la Peira Park: land conditioning actions, creation and repair of retaining walls, recovery of the soil structure with the contribution of organic matter, bioengineering structure to stop runoff and incorporate rainwater into the land, planting of trees, irrigation installation, creation of biodiversity refuges, etc.
