As a result of the project, an area of 131,500^m2 is expected to be renaturalized.

The proposal has a multi-scale and multi-territorial strategic framework. The transversality of all the communication and awareness-raising actions proposed stands out, with special attention to those of citizen science.

The following actions will be carried out: creation of wetlands fed by groundwater that improve river dynamics and consolidate the deltaic ecosystem as an ecological connector between the river system and the coastline; revegetation of lagoons, walls, canal and dune area; elimination of invasive alien species; creation of biodiversity niches; and reorganisation of pedestrian routes to favour the preservation of the natural space and the creation of informative spaces.

As the area of action is the mouth of the Besòs river, ecological connectivity is justified both longitudinally in the river and transversally with the green spaces of both the municipality of Sant Adrià de Besòs and the coastal strip.
