The project responds to the increase in the entry of animals intervened due to complaints, abandonment, seized, confiscated or found.

In addition to its relocation for conservation and education programs, it is proposed to carry out educational programs on this problem for schoolchildren, dissemination in the media and support to the administration and security forces in the control, storage and monitoring of the problem with exotic fauna.

Some of the actions included in this project are:

• Reception of specimens of exotic fauna seized or confiscated.
• Foster Abandoned Exotic Pets.
• Participate in exotic fauna conservation programmes with specimens from the CITES centre.
• Maintain CITES animal facilities and ensure that their basic needs are met.
• Construction of an area for reptiles.
• Raise awareness among schoolchildren about responsible pet ownership and the consequences of a bad decision.
• To raise awareness of the problems arising from human actions on fauna and ecosystems.
