The entity corresponding to the GRUPO MODA ESTILMAR S.A. located in Pol. Ind. Mata Rocafonda (Barcelona), offers designs and fabrics for the sectors linked to women’s and men’s swimwear, intimate and sports fashion, with a KM0 approach. The main innovation in recent years has been the ECOWAVE line, ecological products with a reduced carbon footprint, where they use ecological and sustainable yarns to generate fewer CO2 emissions. With this project presented, it is intended to acquire several digital stamping machines, testing machine and components to modernize and improve the existing machinery so that the production process has greater energy efficiency and lower water consumption, as well as allows working with a minimum margin of error, reducing errors, which not only produce losses (waste), but also but they also force the use of more raw material than expected.

657,084 eurosProject for the acquisition of various digital stamping machinery with cutting-edge technology (and the adaptation of the space for this purpose) that allows production with greater energy efficiency and lower water consumption, reducing water and energy consumption by more than 95%, and the generation of GHG by 87%. As well as working with a minimum margin of error, reducing errors, which not only produce waste (waste), but also force the use of more raw material than expected.
This project will result in a reduction of textile waste from 7.25% to 2.75% after the elimination of the traditional printing process and a saving of virgin raw material during the production process of 63.70%.
