The removal of breakwaters and the removal of dams and the partial replacement of the concrete wall will extend the width of the channel. The riparian vegetation corridor will also be increased, All this will reduce flood risk, increase biodiversity and expand the environmental services of the river environment for the enjoyment of citizens.
