The aim is for the company to be able to recycle the pre-consumer waste of textile fibres that it generates in its production process thanks to its reintroduction into the same process to produce recycled fabric with high added value, thus promoting the circular economy and reducing the consumption of virgin raw materials per unit produced.
Specifically, it is:
With the new implementations that are intended to be carried out thanks to this project, a significant part of the waste generated would be recovered, optimizing the waste generated by conventional industrial processes to the maximum. They currently introduce 16,623.45 kg of recycled raw material with respect to the total raw material used (+1,000 tonnes), which represents 1.54%. The project aims to achieve 2.1-2.5% of recycled raw material introduced. This represents an environmental improvement of between 30% and 65%, more than 6 tonnes. Previously, these losses were sold to a third party for higher-value applications.
Reduction of raw material consumption by recycling internal waste from the Royo fabric production process, creating new recycled fabrics that promote the Circular Economy
