The renaturalization project of the environment of Vistalegre and the Calzas Anchas stream is another link in the sustainable development policies of the Utrera City Council. The actions are focused on the natural recovery of an area of several hectares of degraded land located in the southeast area of the city, as well as the renaturalization of the Calzas Anchas stream bed that runs through this land, seeking to provide a pilot and demonstrative solution based on the safe, sustainable, efficient and coherent removal of gray infrastructure and the consequent contribution of an integral and transversal response for the ecological and landscape recovery of the environment. This is an ideal peri-urban area to develop a large green area of high environmental value, developing a strategy that avoids including anthropic and artificial elements in order to prioritize the inclusion of biodiversity dynamics and ecosystem services.
