In line with the Valencia 2030 Urban Strategy, the Green and Biodiversity Plan and the Urban Agriculture Plan, the project foresees two actions for the recovery of spaces (Mediterranean garden and urban garden) in response to citizen demands and participation processes consisting of increasing the city’s green infrastructure. In addition, a Pollinator Conservation Nucleus will be developed to create a biodiversity node within the Turia Garden. Finally, 115 biodiversity pilots will be developed in the city’s green infrastructure. The project covers an area of 19,465 m2 and will be widely publicized, coinciding with Valencia’s European Green Capital 2024, which recognizes the city’s renaturalization efforts.
