The general objective of the project is the research and development of bio-based auxiliaries for dyeing and soil release finishes for the textile industry. This will reduce the environmental impact and improve biodegradability in textile processes by replacing petrochemical auxiliaries with renewable and biodegradable alternatives. The bio-based content of the formulations will be evaluated using experimental techniques, initially on a laboratory scale and validated by industrial scaling, ensuring their effectiveness and compatibility with different types of tissues. Biodegradability studies and life cycle analyses will be carried out to confirm the reduction of toxic waste and compliance with international standards. The project proposes 3 results: the generation of 8 products with eco-design criteria, improvement between 30-50% of the carbon footprint of the product, and the reduction of up to 40% of waste generated once the object substance is discarded.
