“Valladolid, Biodiversity Paths” addresses the environmental restoration of several degraded areas and the recovery of linear areas, generating in the city a network of spaces integrated into the urban area where each of them functions as a piece of the whole and not as an individual green area.

  • Restoration of an inert landfill transforming it into the biological-urban reserve “El tomillo”
  • Restoration and ecological improvement of the Cerro de San Cristóbal.
  • Improvement and ecological diversification in Cuesta Conejos and Cuesta Maruquesa and creation of a pond in Fuente El Sol.
  • Recovery of amphibians and birds in urban and peri-urban areas.
  • Control and elimination of invasive species.
  • Start of intervention for the creation of an internal ecological corridor around the VA-20.
