The main objective is to expand the degree of involvement of the group of European residents of the coastal regions of the Valencian Community in active conservation and stewardship initiatives.
The main objective is to expand the degree of involvement of the group of European residents of the coastal regions of the Valencian Community in active conservation and stewardship initiatives.
This objective will be carried out through training, dissemination and the establishment of channels of collaboration with entities in the countries of origin of these residents. The regions of Alicante where the initiative will be developed are the Marina Alta, the Marina Baixa and the Baix Segura.
Specifically, the following are pursued:
- To improve the knowledge of European residents about the environmental and cultural values of the environment of their current residence.
- The dissemination of land stewardship as a tool for the protection and conservation of the environment and its natural, cultural and landscape values.
This initiative provides for the following actions to be carried out:
- An exhibition on the characteristics and environmental problems associated with the Valencian territory, as well as on land stewardship.
- An international conference on conservation and stewardship of the territory
- A series of conferences on land stewardship.
- A series of guided hiking routes through natural areas of interest on the Valencian coast, aimed at the group of European residents.
