The project aims to contribute to the knowledge of the ornithological richness of O Grove, in Pontevedra, highlighting its potential through the necessary investments.

The project aims to contribute to the knowledge of the ornithological richness of O Grove, in Pontevedra, highlighting its potential through the necessary investments.

Thus, it is intended to educate and raise awareness among the local population and promote alternative and healthy tourism throughout the year, improving the conditioning of trails of ornithological interest, viewpoints and bird observatories.

To this end, the project includes a series of actions:

• Informative campaign among the different social agents on the value of the ornithological wealth of the area.
• Preparation of specialized guides that are easy to understand on the subject and manuals of good practices, with recommendations for sustainable tourism.
• Organisation of courses, talks, educational visits and seminars aimed mainly at schoolchildren and the tourism and hospitality sector.
• Creation of the “Bird-Friendly Establishment” seal for lodgings in the area in order to promote ornithological tourism.
• Adaptation of paths, in which plant screens with native species will be fixed.
