The purpose of the initiative is to highlight the public good that farmers exercise in the conservation and maintenance of biodiversity.

The work of farmers enhances the genetic richness of certain livestock varieties and breeds. as well as the biological diversity of agricultural systems, and this project will help to maintain the employment of farmers and ranchers who sustain biodiversity, and will encourage other farmers and ranchers to invest in their farms to take care of the environment, thus achieving more sustainable farms.

The aim is to avoid rural depopulation, trying to attract young people from rural areas as a solution to generational renewal for these farms, which by their crops and way of working contribute to the maintenance of the environment and biodiversity.

The project combines the preparation of a study on biodiversity with the training of agricultural entrepreneurs in environmental and biodiversity matters, and the celebration of a national day. This objective is developed within a framework of sensitization and awareness that must reach agricultural entrepreneurs, who, in short, manage the rural environment, to transmit the idea that the natural environment belongs to everyone and therefore we must manage and respect it together.

The recipients of the project are mainly agricultural entrepreneurs, paying special attention to those workers in depopulated areas and rural areas.
