The Brinzal entity seeks to increase the quantity and quality of habitat in rainfed agriculture available to birds in the center of the peninsula through this initiative.

The project will serve to contact a significant number of farmers in each of the areas covered by the project, seeking to significantly improve the attitude of the farmers contacted, in addition to a significant percentage of them taking advantage of the advisory program for the conversion of their crops to organic. Likewise, within the initiative, educational or awareness days will be held and informative material will be distributed.

The activities of this initiative include:

• Advise farmers and landowners on production systems that favour or harm birds linked to agriculture through direct contact, cooperatives, meetings, etc.
• To advise local administrations on the possibilities offered by sustainability in agriculture when it comes to promoting activities that benefit the rural environment.
• Provide guidance on organic agriculture to farmers or owners, as well as on the necessary requirements for the transformation of their crops into organic and the necessary steps to obtain such certification for their production.
• Dissemination and awareness of the benefits provided by agriculture favourable to birds to humans, ecosystems and biodiversity.
