The project seeks to promote the sustainability of continental aquaculture through training and strengthening its development, supporting the implementation of business initiatives in this area.
The project seeks to promote the sustainability of continental aquaculture through training and strengthening its development, supporting the implementation of business initiatives in this area.
This initiative will be carried out in four phases:
- Carrying out a study that analyzes the potential of aquaculture as a driver of rural development.
- Training, recruitment and professionalisation of those people who carry out their activity around the aquaculture sector and/or the rural environment to promote more sustainable aquaculture.
- Promotion and implementation of sustainable initiatives linked to this activity through continuous monitoring and advice.
- Promotion and awareness of sustainable aquaculture and green employment.
The recipients of the project are self-employed workers and workers of SMEs and micro-SMEs linked to the rural environment and/or aquaculture, as well as those professionals who have in some way maintained an employment relationship with the natural environment and aquaculture activity.
