The main objective of the project is to recover and enhance four historical paths that run through natural landscapes of the municipality of Cárcheles, in the province of Jaén.

The main objective of the project is to recover and enhance four historical paths that run through natural landscapes of the municipality of Cárcheles, in the province of Jaén.

More specifically, it is intended to:

• Identify, catalogue and recover four traditional paths that run through the municipality.
• To make educational materials available to citizens and to carry out informative actions about the project.

The planned actions are as follows:

• Compilation of information on elements of heritage and landscape interest in the municipality.
• Cataloguing of ethnographic elements.
• On-the-ground study carried out by trail technicians to define the layout of the trails and their cartographic survey.
• Clearing, conditioning and marking of the paths.
• Preparation, design and edition of informative materials by a working group of citizens and technicians.
• Design of a school teaching unit.
• Holding an informative day to present the results of the project.
• Organization of a quarterly program of guided interpretive itineraries.
