Comprehensive protection of flora, vegetation and priority habitats in the municipality of Enguídanos

MITECO

This project will serve to develop a strategy for the conservation of the floristic diversity and habitats of the Cuenca municipality of Enguídanos, while creating opportunities for compatible socio-economic growth.

To this end, the strategy will be based on the protection of spaces, the restoration of vegetation and habitats, all achieving the involvement of the population and socio-economic agents. In addition, knowledge about its biological diversity will be disseminated at the local level, and research and monitoring tasks will be carried out.

The expected results are:

Protection of sites of biological interest
Involvement of the population and socio-economic agents of the municipality in the conservation of biological diversity.
Scientific research on biodiversity as a fundamental basis for management.
