With the Conama-Granada Forum 2013, a space for meeting and dialogue has been generated around good practices of sustainable local development in small and medium-sized municipalities, as one of the axes for a cohesive territorial development, socially fair and committed to conservation and the environment.
Below are the projects included in the Forum promoted by the Conama Foundation:
Seminar “The Nasrid Agrarian Landscape, Peri-Urban Spaces in Granada and Northern Morocco”: It aims to establish the strategic territorial basis for the development, sustainability and preservation of peri-urban agricultural spaces in the provinces of Granada, Tetouan and Chefchaouen, through the promotion of activities that guarantee agricultural development, enhancement and awareness of the natural and cultural heritage of these landscapes.
IV Meeting of Provincial Councils, Island Councils and Councils: It is necessary to recover the role of intermediate local entities with respect to rural municipalities, emphasizing the smallest, with the aim of building a joint strategy, institutionalizing these meetings and implementing common actions. It is desired to establish a new meeting again for both technical and political personnel of all the provincial councils, councils and island councils in Spain.
